Where is My Home, airing on MBC at 10 p.m. on the 23rd, searches for apartments in the 200 million won range that can be found in the city center as the average apartment sale price in Seoul has exceeded 1.5 billion won.
On this site visit, Seoul native actors Im Hyeong-jun and Jeong I-rang, and Kim Suk, who has lived in Seoul for many years, join to view properties from various perspectives.
The first place the three visited was an apartment built in 1970 located in Namchang-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. Despite its old exterior in this downtown location close to Myeong-dong, everyone was surprised to find an interior that had been stylishly remodeled as soon as they opened the front door. In particular, its excellent accessibility, with Seoul Station reachable in about 10 minutes where KTX can be used, also draws attention.
The owner, who currently works in Sejong, said they use this house as a second home to stay in when they have business in Seoul, which attracted interest.
Seeing this, Im Hyeong-jun said he would be jealous, saying, "As someone who commutes from Gapyeong, it would be really nice to have a second house in Seoul." Earlier, having envied a husband who had his own space, he reacted excitedly to the question, "How would it feel to go home to that house instead of Gapyeong?" But when Yang Se-chan asked, "What if your wife is waiting at that house?" he turned the scene into a laugh fest with his trademark witty reply.
Jeong I-rang also attracted attention by revealing that, although she does not own a home in Seoul, she prepared a second house on Anmyeondo to enjoy clam digging with her children.
The three then toured another apartment in the 200 million won range located near Tongin Market in Jongno-gu. This house, with a neat interior after remodeling, boasts an excellent location adjacent to Tongin Market. Seeing this, Joo Woo-jae exclaimed, "It's almost at the level of a mixed-use residential complex."
The owner, a freelancer whose job requires frequent meetings, said they chose this house with location and price as the most important criteria, conveying the appeal of a practical urban living space.
