EXchange / Transit Love season 4 contestant Kwak Min-kyung mentioned difficulties that arose after gaining fame.
Recently, a video titled "first story I'm revealing" was posted on the YouTube channel Minwawa.
That day Kwak Min-kyung opened up, saying, "I think I've been so busy lately that I felt I needed some time for myself," and "so I plan to spend time with subscribers talking about the concerns I've been having recently."
Kwak Min-kyung said, "I don't think I've ever talked about my worries or difficulties on video. I really wanted to talk about it at least once," and "I think it got a bit worse after I and Seung-yong oppa made our relationship public."
She added, "I always see subscribers cheering me on, liking me and sending messages. I'm truly spending days full of gratitude," expressing her thanks.
However, Kwak Min-kyung said, "There are people who view me from different perspectives. There are people who dislike me and there are malicious commenters. (The malicious comments) are under legal action. Still, it's being resolved well," updating on legal responses.
She went on to say, "Lately I've become more sensitive. Even during dates I meet many people, and there are many who recognize me when I'm with friends, acquaintances or family."
Kwak Min-kyung recalled, "If I meet someone for 10 minutes, nine of them say warm and kind things, so that's nice. Occasionally one person can be very rude. Sometimes while walking they shout 'Hey!' or call out 'Minkyung! Kwak Min-kyung.'"
She said, "Someone might say, 'Hey, that's Minkyung,' and a friend will say, 'Who is Minkyung? I don't know that person,' then come to me and ask to take a photo. They say they don't know who she is next to me, but when they take a photo it inevitably hurts."
Finally, Kwak Min-kyung lamented, "Some people ask rude questions. Stress builds up little by little. I feel like a monkey trapped inside a fence. It feels like they're mocking me," and "Once I went out without makeup and they secretly filmed us with a camera. I politely asked, 'I'm barefaced; could you not take photos?' but they kept taking pictures until they left."
