The new teaser poster and trailer for "Made In Korea 2," starring actor Hyunbin up front, have raised expectations.
Disney+ original series "Made In Korea season 2" has confirmed a September release and unveiled a teaser poster and pre-teaser trailer.
Made In Korea, which rose to No. 1 worldwide for "most watched" among Disney+ Korea original releases in 2025 and led a global hit phenomenon, has confirmed season 2 for this coming September and suddenly revealed a teaser poster and pre-teaser trailer.
"Made In Korea season 2" is a noir drama that depicts the perilous journey of "Baek Gi-tae," who runs wild toward greater desires nine years later. Named early as Time's "most anticipated Korean drama of 2026," "Made In Korea season 2" has raised expectations to a peak even before its release.
The teaser poster released this time instantly captures attention by conveying the unapproachable aura of "Baek Gi-tae" (Hyunbin). Against the backdrop of a spacious office filled with a heavy atmosphere, the composed figure of "Baek Gi-tae" seated at ease suggests that he achieved everything by the end of season 1, yet his other interior world appears somehow empty, making it all the more striking. In particular, the nameplate clearly showing the title "Director General Baek Gi-tae" and the powerful copy "Remember this. We are patriotic, patriotic" add curiosity about Baek Gi-tae's dangerously reckless course toward desire under the banner of patriotism following season 1.
The released pre-teaser trailer foretells an unpredictable narrative by portraying Baek Gi-tae's intensified ambition, the cracks surrounding him, and the emergence of a new force.
It begins with the line "I have waited for this moment for a very long time," and from the start the bold figure of Baek Gi-tae sitting at the presidential office desk with a sharp gaze delivers intense immersion. Then, with the portentous line "Sometimes a single moment's choice changes the course of history," tense scenes unfold, announcing the prologue to a huge incident that shook Korea. Breathless action sequences interlock with this to heighten the tension.
In particular, the image of "Baek Gi-hyeon" (Woo Do Hwan) standing in tense opposition to Baek Gi-tae raises questions about how the relationship between the two will change, and the emergence of military forces opposing Baek Gi-tae's Central Intelligence Agency foreshadows the prologue to a new power struggle. Finally, the scene in which Jang Geon-young (Jung Woosung), who was defeated by Baek Gi-tae in season 1, reappears and Baek Gi-tae, confronted with him, cannot hide his shock, predicts an unpredictable bloodstorm that will blow upon them and amplifies anticipation.
Disney+ original series "Made In Korea season 2" is once again directed by director Woo Min-ho, who delivered overwhelming immersion with a singularly high-quality cinematic series in season 1, and actors representing Korea—Hyunbin, Jung Woosung, Woo Do Hwan, Seo Eun-soo, Won Jian, Jung Sung-il, Roh Jae Won and others—are expected to captivate global viewers with deeper acting synergy and explosive suspense.
Having released a teaser poster and pre-teaser trailer to build anticipation, "Made In Korea season 2" will be available exclusively on Disney+ in September 2026.
Meanwhile, "Made In Korea" season 1 achieved a record of 23 consecutive days at No. 1 in Korea in the Disney+ top 10 TV shows category at the time of its release, ranked No. 1 in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and No. 2 in Japan and Singapore. In addition, according to the "OTT K-original content viewer evaluation report for the third week of January" released by Consumer Insight, it scored 80 in satisfaction, ranking first among launch content in the film & drama genre with an overwhelming figure.<
