Mnet's "Street World Fighter: Directors' War" released personal profile posters and statements from 10 performance directors ahead of its premiere.
The Mnet show "Street World Fighter: Directors' War" (hereafter "SDiFa"), which premieres on Aug. 18, is a new project in the dance series that began with "Street Woman Fighter." Whereas the previous series pitted world-class dancers against each other, this time performance directors who plan and stage shows take center stage to compete with their works.
With anticipation already high based on the lineup of 10 world-class directors that was previously revealed, interest has grown even hotter as individual posters that reflect each person's personality and philosophy have been unveiled.

Nine, former leader of the winning crew Turns from "Street Woman Fighter," said "SDiFa is meaningful in that it is a stage that challenges us as directors" and vowed "I will show a meticulous and capable side, unlike my young age."
Baby Joo, who has won 26 wacking competitions, said, "I wanted to grow one step through a new challenge," and added, "I will do my best until the end with my bright energy." Having staged numerous performances for SHINee and Taemin, he expressed confidence, saying, "I will show what the profession of director truly is."

K-pop first-generation choreographer Back Kooyoung said, "SDiFa is a stage where I can best show my artistic world," and added, "This time I want to be recognized with the best work."
IVE performance director Shimizu said, "I hope many people come to know the appeal of the profession of performance director," and added, "I will give it my all without regret."
Jung Minjun, who led the U.S. "2026 VIBE Dance Competition" to victory, said, "I want to convey my beliefs and story through my work," and added, "I am determined to win so the dance community can regain its vitality."
Hash, a master of "mega performance," said, "I really enjoy creating works," and added, "My goal is to have people say, 'I want to see the next work, too.'"

Renan, a global choreographer who worked on aespa's performances, said, "I want to show that I have grown one level as a performance director."
Bada, formerly of the winning crew from "Street Woman Fighter 2," said, "I wanted to show Bada as both a choreographer and a director," and confidently added, "I will present works without regret on every stage."
Inkyu, who sparked a global challenge craze with Jennie's "like JENNIE" performance, said, "My goal is not to beat others but to surpass my previous self with every work."
