'I'm SOLO' season 32 members Yeong-cheol and Yeong-ja ended their relationship after a verbal fight.
On the 22nd episode of the ENA·SBS Plus variety show I'm SOLO (hereafter I'm SOLO), a one-on-one date between season 32's Yeong-cheol and Yeong-ja was shown.
That day Yeong-cheol and Yeong-ja showed coldness even before going on the date. Yeong-cheol tried to lighten the mood before the date, but Yeong-ja shot back, "Can't we just do that there?"
Then Yeong-cheol said, "Can't we talk? If you keep like that, the conversation won't go properly," and held out his phone to choose the menu. In response Yeong-ja angrily said, "Why do you keep being so irritable like that?" Ok-soon tried to mediate, but the two created a chilling atmosphere even in the car while moving.
Yeong-ja voiced complaints about Yeong-cheol, but Yeong-cheol also retorted as pent-up feelings about Yeong-ja surfaced. In the end Yeong-ja shouted, "Listen to me and then talk," and the two argued for 1 hour and 40 minutes, surprising the MCs.
Unable to resolve their feelings, the date ended, and Yeong-cheol drew a line first, saying, "I really hope we can be brother and sister." Yeong-cheol extended a hand toward reconciliation, but Yeong-ja refused. Seeing this, Defconn analyzed, "What Yeong-ja said is also annoying. I haven't let go yet, but she's like, 'Are you going to let go first?' The 'brother and sister' remark was annoying too."
Yeong-ja confessed, "I feel regretful about everything. We really have never had a full conversation. It's a pity that only Yeong-cheol tried to get to know me. If something feels off, does it just cool off quickly? There's something like that."
