Singer Yu Subi revealed the background behind her sweep from Miss Trot4' appearance to the 'Chunhyang selection contest.'
Yu Subi appeared on the BTN radio program Bae A Hyun in starlight and moonlight' broadcast on March 21 in the "Star-Moon Art Center" segment, offering a lovely charm, wit and a live stage.
Saying it was her first radio appearance, Yu Subi introduced herself as "I majored in dance, but I became deeply immersed in trot, so now I'm a rookie singer who sings."
Yu Subi, who gained recognition from appearing on Miss Trot4', revealed behind-the-scenes of her appearance, saying, "I didn't tell anyone—family, relatives, acquaintances or friends—because I was afraid I might be eliminated in the preliminaries. I told them after I passed," and she expressed happiness that although she had given up her dream of being a dancer because of an injury, she was able to achieve her dream as a singer.
Yu Subi, who said she participated in the "Chunhyang selection contest," a bucket list item, after graduating from university in March, also said she recently appeared in the original dance play "Dancing grandmothers."
Showing her unique color and charm with a live performance of Joo Hyun-mi's 'Just a moment,' Yu Subi expressed gratitude while answering the flood of messages from listeners. Yu Subi said, "I was so nervous, but thank you for guiding me well and thank you to the listeners for their kind words. I will work hard to become a singer who can have a long run for 20, 30 years, so please support me a lot."
