Manager Kim, which is riding a wave of popularity with a 23.1% viewership rating, will go on a reward vacation.
On the 22nd, an SBS official told OSEN, "Currently some actors and key production staff are discussing a small team-building trip to fit individual schedules, but specific dates and locations have not been finalized."
Earlier, one outlet reported that the SBS Manager Kim production team and cast would head to Guam from Aug. 18 to 21 to celebrate the drama's success. However, those whose schedules do not align will not attend.
If they do go on the trip, it would be the second reward vacation this year for SBS, following My Royal Nemesis, which earlier went to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, for its reward vacation.
Manager Kim has shown strong ratings since the early days of its broadcast, to the point that extensions, special variety shows and reward vacations have been mentioned. Ratings began at 9.5% for episode 1 and recently rose to 23.1%, making it the highest-rated drama broadcast this year.
Meanwhile, SBS Manager Kim airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m.
