Singer GINA has been posting daily updates and released a leggings shot showing off her figure.
GINA posted multiple photos on the 21st without any particular comment.
The released photos show GINA wearing a sleeveless top with black leggings that reveal her figure starkly. GINA wore high heels under the leggings, and she posed with expressions and postures as if shooting a fashion spread, adding a bright expression. In addition, GINA, who emphasized her figure even during her heyday, has been appealing to the public by releasing image shots that exposed her abs with a white T-shirt and jeans concept, among others.
Recently GINA directly opened her mouth on social media for the first time in 10 years about a "prostitution fine" and posted a long message. It was her 16th debut anniversary and 10 years since she received a fine on charges of mediating prostitution.
Announcing the remake of her debut song that gave her her first music show win, "I will disappear, live well," GINA said, "Wow.. it's already been 16 years since my debut. Thank you for still remembering me and staying by my side," she said.
She recalled being expelled from the entertainment industry 10 years ago when she received a fine, saying, "People say, 'You handled it really well.' No, I couldn't do that. I was going crazy, I lost the vitality inside me, I suffered in silence and couldn't ask for help. I shattered alone," and added, "Then I put on a smile. A smile that lies better than any mask. Did I handle it well? I just endured. Not because I was strong every day, but because I simply had no other choice."
She posted a roughly one-minute video on her social media and said, "Hello, meet again. Chapter 2. Finding my voice."
GINA said, "Over the past few years I watched people from afar make up stories about me. Those writings never captured my real self. And for a long time I chose silence. Not because those words were true, but because I wasn't ready yet," and added, "People often misunderstand silence as having nothing to say. But sometimes silence is simply all that's needed to endure and survive. It can become the space needed for healing and choosing to wait until you can finally speak proudly in your own voice."
She continued, "Being here today at an age approaching 40 means more to me than words can explain. Not because I'm trying to go back to the past, but because it feels like I'm finally introducing this version of myself to you," and said, "She has become kinder to herself and is beginning to create something from a place that finally feels true. I didn't come here to prove my worth to strangers. I'm here because music has always felt like home to me," adding, "This shoot wasn't just a simple photo session. It felt like the beginning of something I've dreamed of for a very, very long time. And when the time comes you will hear my story delivered in my true voice from me, not sensational headlines or baseless rumors. Until then I will continue the things I've always loved, one song at a time. So, hello. Nice to meet you again," breaking her silence, declaring "Chapter 2" and hinting at a comeback.
Meanwhile, GINA shocked fans by receiving a fine in 2016 for violating the Act on the Punishment of Acts of Arranging Prostitution and other acts. She then suspended domestic activities and left Korea for Canada. The following year in 2017 she told fans, "We will meet again soon. I am preparing a new start," and celebrated her 10th debut anniversary at Lindeman Lake in Vancouver, Canada. However, her domestic entertainment industry activities have been effectively suspended due to the fine for prostitution charges.<
