Group Cortis surpassed 300 million streams 77 days after the release of their second mini album.
BigHit Music said on the 22nd, "Cortis' second mini album 'Greengreen (GREENGREEN)' surpassed 300 million cumulative plays on Spotify as of the 20th. This was 77 days after the album's release, making it the only boy group that debuted within the past year to achieve this."
'Greengreen' reached 100 million cumulative streams on May 19 and 200 million on June 18 after its May 4 release. About a month later it added another hundred-million-level stream total, proving Cortis' rising momentum.
This is particularly meaningful because the additional record came after Cortis concluded promotional activities for the 'Greengreen' album. It shows that Cortis' upward momentum continues steadily.
The title track of 'Greengreen,' "Redred (REDRED)," has also maintained its popularity, recording about 154 million cumulative plays on Spotify.
Amid their global rise, Cortis will take the stage at the large U.S. music festival Lollapalooza Chicago on July 31–Aug. 1 (local time).
