In the excitement filled with the scent of flowers, an aching reunion romance between two people who could not turn to each other unfolds.
On the 21st, KBS2's new weekend drama Love On The Menu (written by Lee Kyung-hee, directed by Hong Seok-gu, produced by Monster Union, Contents G) released a special poster of Ha Seok-jin and Ahn Heeyeon.
In the released poster, small white aster, forget-me-nots and lily of the valley subtly overlap above Ha Seok-jin gently holding Ahn Heeyeon's finger, creating a lyrical and sensuous atmosphere. In particular, Ha Seok-jin's affectionate gaze toward Ahn Heeyeon and Ahn Heeyeon's gaze looking straight ahead form a strange contrast, arousing curiosity about the narrative the two will write going forward.
Love On The Menu is a family recipe drama about two men and women who gather the fragments of a family to set the warmest table in life, and the story of reassembling broken family fragments with warmth and care delivers a special resonance in a modern society where individualism and family disintegration are accelerating.
The production team said they expect to deliver deep emotion to viewers of all generations through the growth process of a family bound by solidarity, and added that characters with distinct backstories and personalities will be active from the start and complete a rich narrative.
They also added that they wanted to portray the process of two men and women with different wounds healing their hearts and reclaiming the meaning of family through a warm meal. As the story pieces together the fragments of a scattered family one by one, they said they aim to show our lives that encompass intergenerational conflict and reconciliation beyond a simple romance.
