The 2026 Breaking Project Camp Summer concluded successfully.
The 2026 Breaking Project Camp Summer, co-hosted by the SBS Foundation and the Korea Breaking Federation (KBF), was held for two days from July 17 to 18 at Ventus Hall, The Week & Resort, Incheon.
Organized as part of the Breaking Project awardee support program, the camp offered a variety of educational programs designed not only to improve participants' breaking skills but also to help them grow as athletes and prepare for sustainable careers.
On the first day, a special lecture was given by Han Song-yi, SBS Sports women's volleyball commentator and former women's national team player; the CREW UP program, where participants shared know-how and communicated with one another; a breaking class by JINJO Crew's Jang Ji-kwang (VERO); an exhibition battle; and a lecture on the World DanceSport Federation breaking judge system (WDSF Breaking Judge System) by Hwang Myung-chan, secretary-general of the Korea Breaking Federation.
On the second day, JUST PLAYING director Kang Seok-young led high-intensity physical training, and Korea Breaking Federation vice president Kim Heon-jun gave a lecture on mental care and mindset needed by athletes.
A Korea Breaking Federation official said the Breaking Project camp is a program designed to help athletes grow and prepare for the future through diverse experiences, beyond simple technical training, and noted the federation plans to continue systematic educational programs to foster Korea's breaking culture and the next generation of athletes.
