Band DAY6(DAY6) member Young K(Young K) demonstrated formidable ticket power, selling out every performance of his solo concert.
The Incheon performance of the solo tour Young K Solo Tour 'YOUNGEST(Younggest)', held for three days from Aug. 14 to 16 at Incheon Inspire Arena, achieved a full sellout. This sellout occurred after all seats for three performances were exhausted during the presale on the 20th for members of the official fan club My Day(마이데이) sixth generation, once again proving the fandom's passionate support for Young K.
This solo performance is the first stage in about three years since the first solo concert Young K Solo Concert 'Letters with notes' held in Sept. 2023. Young K plans to fully showcase his strengthened abilities as a solo musician with his refreshing vocals that will blow away the midsummer heat and his deep emotional appeal that stirs listeners. The tour will begin in Incheon and extend to seven major Asian cities — Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila and Kuala Lumpur — meeting global audiences.
Ahead of the full-scale tour launch, Young K is in full swing warming up for his comeback with a new full-length album. Since the 17th, he has been running a signature promotion Key of the YOUNGEST through his official SNS channels. This content, centered on a key object engraved with the album title, candidly unravels the inner story of the person Kang Young-hyun and has drawn attention. It weaves childhood memories of running toward dreams, deep recollections in his heart and the colorful moments of the present organically with new songs, raising anticipation for the remaining promotions continuing through the 22nd.
The new release YOUNGEST, due on the 27th, was created with the goal of being the most Young K and the most Kang Young-hyun album. Young K participated in writing and composing all 15 tracks, including the title song Shut The Door, packing the music with the questions he posed to himself and their answers.
Singer-songwriter Young K's second full-length album YOUNGEST will be officially released at 6 p.m. July 27 on various online music sites.
