Group Blackpink member Jennie is making a comeback with a new song.
OA Entertainment said on the 21st that Jennie will release her new single "Less than a Lover" through domestic and international music platforms at 1 p.m. on the 24th.
This new song was previously revealed by Jennie on several overseas festival stages. Jennie recently performed at the U.S. "The Governors Ball Music Festival 2026," Denmark's "Roskilde Festival," Poland's "Open'er Festival," Spain's "2026 Mad Cool Festival," and other stages. At the time, her performance of this new song drew enthusiastic responses.
"Less than a Lover" is a song that Jennie completed with her own sensibility, participating not only in songwriting and other musical work but also in directing the music video. Instead of flashy performances, it emphasizes a languid texture with lo-fi guitar and vintage electric keyboard.
Jennie's distinctive sensuous tone and aura are contained in the song, and it is expected to become a "summer song" representing this summer.
