The group ATEEZ is continuing legal action against malicious commenters to protect their rights.
KQ Entertainment said in an official statement on the 21st, "We continuously monitor false information dissemination, defamation, insults, sexual harassment, invasion of privacy and other rights violations against our artists, and we are taking related legal measures based on the collected evidence."
It added, "Recently, excessively malicious posts, personal attacks and indiscriminate dissemination of false information have continued to be confirmed," and "we are collecting related evidence through our own monitoring and reports from fans."
KQ Entertainment emphasized, "Regardless of whether posts are deleted, accounts are set to private or withdrawn, all already collected materials are under review, and we will proceed with legal action for confirmed illegal acts without any leniency."
It also urged fans to provide evidentiary materials and tip-off emails for posts suspected of being illegal.
It said, "We will continue monitoring and legal responses to protect the rights of our artists."
ATEEZ's side previously stated that in December last year, "We have already proceeded with complaint procedures regarding posts confirmed through domestic and international online communities and social media, and some cases have entered the investigation stage."
