Actor Hwang Bo-ra expressed eagerness to return to activities.
On the 21st, a video titled "actor, parenting, marriage, dating… reality talk with senior Hwang Bo-ra after finishing work" was uploaded to the 'GeurunikkaMariya' channel.
That day Hwang Bo-ra lamented, "I have almost no work. Since I filmed a drama when Woo-in was pregnant, I haven't been able to work on projects until now. Nothing has come in. It's really so hard," expressing her difficulties.
She sighed at the bitter reality, saying, "When I was young I really thought I would always be pretty, successful and make a lot of money. The production staff asked what role she wanted, and Hwang Bo-ra said, "It's the question I hate the most in this world. The role I want, what is meaningful in that work and the episodes while working on the project. When I see producers who ask this question, I really wonder if they had nothing else to ask," she said.
Han Guru confessed, "That makes wanting a role meaningless. There are many roles I want. But talking about it doesn't make it happen," and Hwang Bo-ra also snapped, amusingly, "Talking about it doesn't mean they'll give it. I want to play the tragic heroine. I can really do it well. I want to do it with Byeon Woo-seok. They wouldn't give it to me though. Why did they ask?"
Then Han Guru said, "My heart wants to do rom-com. Will they give it to me? Now you just have to be given it," describing reality, and Hwang Bo-ra said, "I want to do melo. I want to film intimate scenes. I can't film intimate scenes because I don't do bed scenes," and sheepishly laughed, "What are you saying?"
Han Guru then asked, "But what if a real project comes in that has intense bed scenes?" and Hwang Bo-ra answered immediately, "I'd definitely film them." Han Guru asked, "Would your (husband) agree?" but Hwang Bo-ra retorted, "He probably would — if he doesn't, what can he do?" then changed her tone and added with a laugh, "I don't know. Actually. I should meet and ask him."
