Group SEVENTEEN Dino's alter ego Pi Cheolin transforms into a delightful "apostle of love," spreading his distinctive energy.
PLEDIS Entertainment Co. on the 21st released the music video teaser for Pi Cheolin's mini album 1 second pre-release track "Mi-chyeo Mi-chyeo" on HYBE Labels' YouTube channel and SEVENTEEN's official SNS.
In the released video, Pi Cheolin captures attention by acting as a universal dating coach with a homespun meddlesome charm. He invites men and women into a taxi decorated with various dating maxims, and in a tangled love-triangle setup he volunteers as the judge, delivering amusement. Especially at the end of the video, a witty flyer appears setting up Pi Cheolin, author of the book "Go crazy for love," giving a special lecture, heightening curiosity about the full music video.
The lavish visuals that reinterpret Korean retro sensibility with a modern sensibility are also a viewing highlight. From Pi Cheolin's visuals perfectly pulling off so-called "double denim" fashion and multicolored tracksuits to the kaleidoscopic taxi interior and the cafe scenery that fully preserves the 1990s atmosphere, the roughly 30-second teaser alone heralds a unique K-retro world.
Added to this is the powerful addictiveness of uniquely Korean style and excitement. "Mi-chyeo Mi-chyeo," co-written and co-composed by producer Bumzu (BUMZU), who created many of SEVENTEEN's hit songs, and Dino, was surprise pre-released during a congratulatory stage on KBS 1TV's National Singing Contest broadcast on the 12th, already generating explosive buzz once. The track will be officially released on the 22nd at 6 p.m.
