Actor Kwak Dong- yeon, born in 1997, will enlist in the military at the call of the country.
According to the agency The Black Label on the 21st, Kwak Dong- yeon will begin his active-duty Army service on Aug. 25.
Kwak Dong- yeon will enter the Army training center without a separate event. After completing basic military training there, he will continue his service in his assigned unit.
Debuting on the small screen on 2012 through the KBS 2TV drama "You Rolled in Unexpectedly," Kwak Dong- yeon has since received great love for a wide range of characters across the small and big screens, including the dramas "Love in the Moonlight," "Vincenzo," and "Queen of Tears," as well as the film "6/45."
Most recently, on the 17th, he made a surprise appearance as the nation's crown prince in the Netflix original "East Palace," which was unveiled, leaving a strong impression.
Due to Kwak Dong- yeon's enlistment, Ko Kyung-pyo has joined season 2 of tvN's popular variety program "The Village Barber," in which Park Bo Gum and Lee Sang Yi were appearing alongside him, as a new member in his place.
