On the 20th, the YouTube channel 'Hyunyoung Choice' uploaded a video titled 'Songdo mom waiting for daughter who went to swim training | the reality of parents of athletes'.
That day Hyunyoung waited in the car for her daughter and talked. She said, "On a rainy day, I am filming a video while waiting in the car for my daughter's swim practice to finish," and added, "Living as a parent of an athlete is not easy physically or mentally, but the pride felt within it is also great."
She added, "When training is over, I quickly take her in the car, go home and prepare something to eat. Parents of athletes will all understand. The continuous waiting is the parents' lot."
Afterward Hyunyoung said, "Actually, I did not study hard when I was in school. But my daughter studies and exercises, so I am really proud of her," and boasted, "My daughter is now in the second year of middle school and is nearly 173cm tall. Her face is also rather pretty and she is good at sports." which drew attention.
She said, "She has consistently studied English and seems interested in business administration, so she is thinking about a career in that field," adding, "I wonder if I worked that hard at her age."
Meanwhile Hyunyoung is a former contestant of the SBS supermodel contest and has worked in various fields as a broadcaster, singer and actor. She married a non-celebrity in 2012 and has one son and one daughter, and currently operates a shopping mall and works as a businesswoman in addition to broadcasting.
Her children are reported to be attending Chadwick International School in Songdo. This school charges about 600 million won per student for completing all courses from kindergarten through high school.
