HYBE's new girl group TUIDE will make its mark on the music industry with a bold promotion that will premiere performances of all tracks from their album before their official debut.
On the 21st, according to ABD, a new label under HYBE Music Group, TUIDE (Seohee, Seoyon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea, Lee Ha-nee) will hold a preview event 'TUIDE EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW [PLAYGROUND]' (hereafter [PLAYGROUND]) on Aug. 1 and 2 at Layer Studio 11 in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Currently TUIDE has kept not only a specific debut date but also the seven members' faces and detailed profiles strictly veiled. At a time when nothing has been disclosed, presenting full performances of the debut album on stage first is a very unusual move in the music industry. It shows their uncommon confidence in greeting global fans first through the essence of music and stage alone.
However, because unreleased new songs will be unveiled for the first time in a secure area, photo taking, video recording, audio recording and live streaming at the venue will be strictly restricted. Instead, a variety of programs will be prepared so fans who attend can experience TUIDE's unique charms and colors with all five senses, making it expected to be a special festival beyond a simple concert viewing.
The agency ABD said [PLAYGROUND] will be an occasion to join the start of seven members who will create a new wave in the music industry, and added that they hope fans will savor the excitement and joy of discovering the gem called TUIDE before anyone else.
Meanwhile, applications to attend [PLAYGROUND], which will share TUIDE's historic first start, will be processed through the TUIDE community on the global superfan platform Weverse. ABD plans to hold a lottery for fans who complete pre-registration by July 26 and specially invite winners to the event.
TUIDE is the first girl group from ABD, the new label launched by HYBE Music Group. The team name was inspired by "tune the tide," meaning "to adjust the flow," and reflects a bold ambition to directly experience and adjust the world's various currents to offer the public new pleasures, drawing attention to their future moves.
