"Spooky in Love" Yoon Hye-rim made a mark on home audiences with her ghost acting.
The rookie actress Yoon Hye-rim left a strong impression in "Spooky in Love," revealing her presence as a next-generation prospect.
Yoon Hye-rim played Jang Eun-joo in the tvN weekend drama Spooky in Love, which aired on the 18th and 19th, delivering a key performance that drove the drama's narrative. Jang Eun-joo was the girlfriend of Park Seung-jae (Kim Do Wan), the only son of a future presidential contender, and dreamed of a happy future with him.
However, after receiving a sudden breakup notice due to a transfer, she went to see Cheon Yeo-ri (Park Eunbin) and ultimately met a tragic death. Later becoming a ghost, Jang Eun-joo returned to Cheon Yeo-ri and provided the catalyst for Cheon Yeo-ri and Ma Kang-wook (Yang Sejong) to begin full-fledged cooperation, maximizing the drama's immersion.
Earlier, Yoon Hye-rim, who gained recognition through the SBS Fri-Sat drama Phantom Lawyer and the Coupang Play series Absolute Value of Romance, drew public praise by realistically portraying various aspects of students. In this work, she vividly portrayed Jang Eun-joo, a tragic victim betrayed by the love she trusted, leaving a deep impression on viewers despite her brief appearance.
Through her agency, Yoon Hye-rim said, "Until now I became known to the public playing student roles, and I prepared happily to take on a new role. I will do my best to show good acting through various works going forward."
Meanwhile, Spooky in Love, the follow-up to Filing for Love, recorded a 3.0% rating on its first broadcast (Nielsen Korea nationwide), and the second episode surged to 5.3%.
