Starship Entertainment said on the 20th that KiiiKiii has confirmed a comeback on Aug. 10 and will release the new record 'Waikiki (WhyKiiiKiii)'.
KiiiKiii announced the comeback and began full-scale promotion of the new record through a dedicated website. They opened a virtual world containing KiiiKiii's comeback keywords and released messages such as "WhyKiiiKiii? Discover the Answer (why KiiiKiii? find the answer)" to pique curiosity.
The website, styled like a travel agency site, is built around KiiiKiii's new record "Waikiki" package tour schedule and attracted attention with quirky and cheerful phrases. It added a Y2K sensibility to KiiiKiii's free and lively youth, arousing curiosity.
KiiiKiii is raising comeback excitement through the "KiiiKiii-style" website promotions it has carried out since debut.
KiiiKiii previously led music chart No. 1 and long-running success with the song "404 (New Era)" released in January, and drew attention by ranking No. 1 on Billboard's "The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2026 (So Far): Staff Picks."
