Actor Hwang Inyoup and Lee Hye-ri's relationship undergoes a change.
ENA Monday-Tuesday drama Dream To You (directed by Yoo Seon-dong, written by Jung Eun-bi) released a still on the 20th ahead of episode 3 showing the changed atmosphere between Woo Soo-bin (played by Hwang Inyoup) and Joo I-jae (played by Lee Hye-ri). The reunion of first loves after 15 years reverses their relationship and hints at a new development.
The released photos capture Woo Soo-bin playfully flicking Joo I-jae on the head and Joo I-jae, tense, tightly closing her eyes. The two, exchanging playful teasing like in their childhood and smiling brightly, still emit the same chemistry in their 30s and bring a smile.
Also captured were Joo I-jae, hands clasped politely as if pleading earnestly with Woo Soo-bin, and Woo Soo-bin listening to him with a deliberately indifferent expression. The atmosphere is strikingly different from after their reunion when Woo Soo-bin approached unreservedly and Joo I-jae drew a cold line.
Earlier in the broadcast, it was revealed that Woo Soo-bin had no choice but to leave for the United States without keeping his promise to Joo I-jae in order to pursue a medical career according to his father Woo Cheol-gyu (played by Jung Hae-kyun). It was also revealed that Joo I-jae, who had gone looking for Woo Soo-bin, suffered a traffic accident and fell into a coma, and that her life afterward was completely changed, evoking sympathy.
Fifteen years later, Woo Soo-bin, who met again, still did not give up the dream of making films together and went straight toward Joo I-jae. By contrast, Joo I-jae pushed him away with a cold attitude, but she found herself in a situation where she had to secure Woo Soo-bin's appearance to air her program "EJAE goes" as a solo slot, raising curiosity with an ending in which she goes to find him herself.
The production team said, "Little by little, changes find their way into the relationship between Woo Soo-bin and Joo I-jae, who have lived with their own wounds," and asked, "Please look forward to the special moments when the two become closer by comforting each other in the process of understanding and looking into one another."
