My Little Old Boy actress Lee Da Hae surprised fans with news of a pregnancy three years after marriage and revealed her husband SE7EN's unusual "daughter-obsessed" recent behavior.
On the 19th episode of SBS' My Little Old Boy (hereafter "My Little Old Boy"), expectant mother Lee Da Hae appeared as a special MC.
MC Shin Dong-yeob greeted Lee Da Hae as she entered the studio with "congratulations, congratulations," offering warm congratulations, and Lee Da Hae responded with a bright smile. Lee Da Hae, who became pregnant with a second child three years after marrying SE7EN, said she chose "My Little Old Boy" for her first variety show appearance after the pregnancy announcement.
Lee Da Hae revealed for the first time the lovingly chosen fetal nickname Heaven, saying "I'm about 18 weeks now, and the fetal name is Heaven," explaining it was taken one character each from her husband SE7EN and her own name. When she confessed the much-anticipated sex of the second child by saying "it's a daughter," the mothers' generation responded in unison, "she will be pretty," showing their excitement.
Lee Da Hae expressed her anticipation, saying "They say the first daughter looks like her father. I'm curious," and then showed affection for SE7EN, saying, "It would be fine if she looks like her father. He's kind of pretty."
When asked if she had thought of any names, she candidly revealed, "(My husband) really liked babies. He subtly pushed me. When he saw a pretty passing baby he'd say 'Elia' — let's name her Elia if we have a daughter. But we actually are having a daughter. I'm debating whether to use Elia. I haven't decided yet."
Already circulating was SE7EN's unusual love for daughters. Lee Da Hae exposed, "He has always liked daughters so much. A few days ago he kept watching a video where (the daughter) says 'I'm going to marry Dad,' (the mother) says 'No, Dad married me,' and (the daughter) cries. He had a grin from ear to ear. He watches only daughter videos like that," drawing attention.
