Super Junior Lee Teuk and Heechul confessed that they were scouted at a host bar club before their debut.
On the 17th, the YouTube channel ZIP DAESUNG uploaded a video titled "Super Junior showdown final comprehensive summary."
That day, Lee Teuk and Heechul, while starting the story of the "Incheon showdown," opened up saying, "We have to start here. We were very close when we were trainees. When he went to nightclubs he would say, "Jungsoo, come with me," so we always did two rounds."
Heechul recalled, "When we went to the Cheongdam intersection, the fanciest car is still the Dynasty for me. In the Dynasty the window would roll down and there would be a golden business card. They would hand it to you and say, 'Contact me sometime.' There isn't even a store name."
Daesung asked, "Did the nightclub person give it (to you)?" and Heechul confessed, "No," adding, "When you come home and look, this is a host bar club." Startled, Daesung laughed and said, "Did a host bar scout you?" and Heechul revealed, "I almost became an unstoppable woman Marlee."
Lee Teuk said, "How that person lured us was by saying, 'If you work here you'll be able to buy a building each.' So Heechul and I promised that if we couldn't debut we'd hold hands and go."
Kim Hee-cheul confessed, "If we hadn't debuted and had gone there, we might have had more money than now. In Japan they stick those up everywhere, so I said, 'Teacher, my face almost would have been posted there too,' and the teacher said, 'You would have somehow made it into Japan.'" which drew laughter.
