Ku Hye-sun said she had lived in a gosiwon. She said, "Unexpectedly, there were not many students and there were many foreigners. I washed in a shared bathroom. The place where I lived did not have a bathhouse; the shower room was shared. It was structured for one person to use at a time," she said.
Ku Hye-sun said she lived in a gosiwon for one year. She said, "Actually, I liked it a lot. I liked that cleaning was finished in one minute. Even in college I wore only the same clothes," showing a carefree attitude that ignored people's gazes.
Ku Hye-sun said her parents did not oppose that lifestyle and said, "They dislike me. My mother's wish is that I buy some clothes. I have one pair of shoes. I don't even have dress shoes. When one pair of shoes wears out, I buy another," she said, drawing laughter.
Ku Hye-sun explained, "The reason I came to live like this was shock. If I die, who will clear all this stuff? The second reason was because of a pet. A retriever chews up everything for the first year when it is a puppy. Women's boots are the number one dog chew. I had to compensate a lot," she explained.
