"2 Days & 1 Night" DinDin drew jeers from the members with a young stickler concept.
On the afternoon of the 19th, the KBS 2TV variety program 2 Days & 1 Night aired a "2026 summer workshop."
The production team said, "We prepared the 2026 summer workshop to improve your teamwork, leadership, sense of responsibility, organizational adaptability, problem-solving ability, and creativity."
They continued, "Have you heard of cross mentoring? It's when seniors and juniors pair up to learn each other's strengths. We will try a mentor-mentee system where seniors and juniors pair up to learn each other's strengths and the areas they lack."
The production team said, "We decided mentors and mentees based on how long they have been on 2 Days & 1 Night, each person's capabilities and skills, and the harmony between seniors and juniors," and named Kim Jongmin and Lee Yongjin, Moon Seyoon and Lee Ki Taek, and DinDin and Lee Jun as mentor and mentee pairs.
Lee Jun, who was teamed with DinDin again, said, "We keep getting paired," and smiled, and DinDin responded firmly, "Why are you laughing? Don't laugh. This is not a laughing matter," drawing attention.
The production team said there would be prizes and explained, "We will allocate lottery balls differentially based on performance. We will give a half-day off pass that allows you to skip all schedules the next day."
When Lee Ki Taek reacted to the half-day off pass, DinDin sharply pointed out, "Ki Taek, you've only been with the company two months; if you take a half-day off, you'll become lax," and Lee Ki Taek quickly explained, "I'm not greedy."
DinDin continued to maintain the "young stickler" concept and said, "Actually, the new members have been here a little over a month, so taking a half-day off isn't appropriate, is it?" and Kim Jongmin said, "But Yongjin is not a newcomer. He's senior to you." Lee Yongjin had previously appeared on 2 Days & 1 Night in 2018 before DinDin.
