Actor Yoon Kyung-ho presented a "Park Jin-chul" style action completed with seriousness beyond joviality and an exceptional physicality in "Manager Kim".
Playing Park Jin-chul, who alternates between brightness and gravity in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Manager Kim," which continues its ratings-winning run, Yoon Kyung-ho leaves a strong impression every time he appears with action that perfectly blends the character's personality and emotions.
In episode 3, Park Jin-chul, who faced off against Kang-sung (Kim Sungkyu), used a frying pan as a shield against an opponent with a gun and delivered a fresh shock with inventive action that even used a refrigerator door freely. Especially, Yoon Kyung-ho, amid fierce fighting, added a playful touch by shouting "rock and roll!" and miming playing a guitar with the frying pan, firmly imprinting Park Jin-chul's distinctive personality on viewers at home.
In the "cider action" inside the prisoner transport vehicle in episode 5, Park Jin-chul's brilliant "big picture" stood out. Even while handcuffed and being moved under agents' watch in a crisis, Park Jin-chul cheerfully chatted to make people laugh. But that was a thoroughly calculated act to lower the opponent's guard. The sharp contrast of Yoon Kyung-ho's eyes as he subdued multiple agents at once the moment a gap appeared convincingly depicted the cleverness of the character Park Jin-chul.
The overwhelming power shone in the "container kick." In episode 7, broadcast on the 17th, a breathless truck head-on showdown with chief Nam (Lee Dong-ha) unfolded. Park Jin-chul's resilience, not easily broken despite repeated strikes, and his overwhelming strength made viewers' hands sweat. In particular, the爽快 kick that sent the opponent flying in one blow fully engraved the dignity befitting the "Republic of Korea's final weapon."
A representative said "Behind the bright Park Jin-chul character lies actor Yoon Kyung-ho's meticulous research and sincerity toward acting, which ensure not a single scene is made carelessly."
