Singer Crush gave a cheerful answer when asked about royalties from about 200 songs he participated in over his 14-year career.
On the 17th broadcast of KBS2 Sung Si-kyung's Ear Candy, singers Lee Sora and Crush appeared as guests.
First, Lee Sora recalled her experience filling in as an MBC radio DJ during Ahn Young-mi's maternity leave and expressed her affection for radio.
She said, "I really like doing radio. I feel like I want to be good to people with my voice," and added, "When messages come in in real time, I feel really at ease. There's a different kind of happiness than when singing."
In response, Sung Si Kyung joked, "You have to start with radio. If I tell you to do it, you have to do it for a year," and Lee Sora laughed, saying, "Who would make me do it?"
Crush, who appeared next, shared that he has grown into a singer 14 years after his debut. Sung Si Kyung teasingly asked, "I heard you participated in about 200 songs, so the royalties must be enormous," and added, "Did you come by helicopter today?" Crush waved his hand and modestly replied, "The royalties are not as much as people think," and, "Far from a helicopter, owning a private car is still a wish," which drew laughter.
The cast burst into laughter at the unexpectedly realistic answer, and Crush warmed the studio atmosphere with his calm wit.
