'Actor Lee Heejun revealed a humorous anecdote saying his 8-year-old son still does not fully know that he is an actor.
On the 17th broadcast of KBS2 'Problem Child in House', actors Jin Sun-kyu and Lee Heejun appeared and opened up about married life and family stories.
First, on that day Jin Sun-kyu said he has been married to actress Kim Bo-kyung for 17 years. The two met in a theater troupe, developed into lovers, and then became married.
Jin Sun-kyu introduced himself as an "aegyo max level husband" who spares no affection for his wife and an unconditional "Yesman." He honestly said that "we have never shouted at each other while fighting," but added, "There are times when I get scolded." He went on to joke, "When I look at my wife's face in the morning she says, 'Aren't you going to clean your face?' That thrills me," drawing laughter. He also expressed his affection for his wife, saying, "Life is unpredictable even a step ahead, so I think we should express ourselves greatly when we can."
Actor Lee Heejun, who has been married to model Lee Hye-jung for 11 years, also expressed special feelings for his family. He said proudly of his wife, a former basketball player, "I'm glad we can work out together."
He especially revealed his side as a "clinging dad" toward his 8-year-old son. Lee Heejun said, "I made my son's birthday cake myself and I was really happy," sharing the joy of parenting.
However, his son still does not know his father's profession precisely. Lee Heejun explained the reason, saying, "I have done many productions restricted to teen viewers, so there are not many works my son can watch." He added, "When I say, 'I'm reading the script,' my son asks, 'Dad, why do you keep looking at poop?'" which made the set erupt in laughter.
He also added, "When people ask me for photos outside, my son doesn't know why they take them. He says he wants to take them too," conveying his son's innocent reaction and adding to the laughter.
