Ku Hye-sun recalled leaving a drama due to anaphylactic shock. She said, "I fainted two or three times during filming. I collapsed in the bathroom. A sanitation worker found me by my hair. I thought it would be bad if the door hadn't been opened."
She added, "They saved me. After that I read a poem. It was a poem about underwear. It was about dignity. When cardiac arrest occurs in the middle of the road, you cut all the clothes off with scissors. They stripped all my clothes off too. They said there are people who do not want that. They don't want exposure in front of many people. I thought I must not die here. It made me think about human dignity."
Ku Hye-sun said and laughed, "We have to eat to make a living, so you can't live without eating. Before I died I thought about what I wanted to eat and it was marinated crab. I once ate marinated crab after preparing allergy medicine. I thought, let's eat and die. Strangely, no symptoms appeared and I was fine afterward."
