After reuniting for the first time in 13 years, Two Months members Kim Yerim and Do Daeyoon candidly revealed the nature of their relationship and the behind-the-scenes of their reunion.
On the 17th broadcast, KBS2's Happy Together featured the mixed duo Two Months, who gained great popularity through an audition program.
That day Do Daeyoon said "we're close now," and when Kim Yerim made a surprised face he quickly added "just kidding," drawing laughter.
The two then answered honestly when asked how often they usually contact each other. Kim Yerim said "not quarterly, but about once every 2–3 years," adding "I used to be the one to contact him first, but this time Daeyoon reached out first." Do Daeyoon said "I gathered the courage to come to Korea," and "the name Two Months was an unforgettable name in my life. I contacted her first with the thought of trying to perform together again."
Asked about her feelings at the time, Kim Yerim said "Two Months felt like it ended too abruptly," and "I always felt regret, but when a good opportunity came along and I thought I could stand on stage with Daeyoon again and talk, I gladly agreed to do it."
Special MC Yoon Jongshin also expressed his delight at the long-awaited reunion of the two. Yoon Jongshin said "their old selves came to mind. Both of them have really grown well," and praised them, saying "Yerim has completely found her own voice, and Daeyoon also seems to have grown into a good musician during the hiatus."
He added, "Seeing them again today, there were moments that were just the same as before, which made me even happier," and "I want to listen to Two Months' music more. After the show let's definitely meet separately and catch up," he suggested, and the two responded with smiles.
