Singer Sean marked his youngest daughter Hael's 15th birthday by revealing a daughter who looks exactly like his wife Jung Hye-young, touching hearts with deep emotion.
On the 17th, Sean posted several photos along with a long message on his social media beginning "Hael's 15th birthday."
The released photos captured Hael's beautiful growth, boasting a fish-shaped bun appearance just like her mother Jung Hye-young. From her youthful days volunteering to deliver briquettes with her father Sean to the now-grown student enjoying a warm, energetic run with her father on the beach, the images evoke a heartwarming feeling.
Sean recalled, "When our youngest Hael was in Hye-young's womb, I prayed to God," saying he remembered the past. He said, "I dreamed of a family with four children, and I am grateful for this gift. But shouldn't one of them be a girl who looks exactly like Hye-young?" and that indeed Hael was born looking exactly like Hye-young, explaining that their daughter's name means "God my God (God Elle)."
He continued to show deep affection for Hael, saying, "She looks exactly like her mother Hye-young in both face and passion," and then took out the letter he had written on Hael's first birthday (dol) once again.
In the letter Sean read again, he wrote, "The word for now in English is 'present.' Now is literally a gift to us," and added his life philosophy: "Because we receive the gift of now at every moment, I believe our lives should also be a gift to someone else."
In particular, Sean brought renewed attention to the meaningful story of choosing to donate instead of throwing a doljanchi for Hael. He said, "Like when Ha-eum first sister, Ha-rang older brother, and Ha-yul older brother were born, after you were born we saved 20 million won over the course of a year, and with that money in your name we helped pay for surgeries for three babies with heart disease at Yonsei Severance Hospital and a cochlear implant surgery for one child who could not hear."

He expressed gratitude, saying, "Hael is the final puzzle piece that completes the perfect family I dream of."
