The group CORTIS rolled out the sails for their first solo tour less than a year after debut, promising audiences full immersion and fiery energy.
CORTIS will open the dazzling curtain of their first solo tour, 2026 CORTIS TOUR, at Incheon Inspire Arena on the 18th and 19th. Starting with the sold-out Incheon shows, they will embark on a grand journey of 14 performances across nine cities worldwide, including Seoul, North America and Japan, between August and September.
At this concert, audiences will be able to see CORTIS's intense live performances, from the mini album 2 title track "REDRED," released in April and sweeping domestic and international music charts, to "YOUNGCREATORCREW," which provokes explosive singalongs. In particular, the tour name "PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN" reflects the members' heartfelt plea to put down smartphones and "fully enjoy this moment together," drawing attention.
Through their agency BigHit Music, CORTIS members shared their excited feelings and points to watch ahead of the tour.
Q. how do you feel and what is your mindset ahead of your first solo tour since debut
Martin: I expect explosive, searing energy. I want to capture every moment of the tour in my head and heart as if photographing it.
James: At every moment I will pull all my strength together to give the audience a good time.
Juhun: I'm grateful that less than a year after debut we can hold a solo concert filled with our fans. We'll do our best so the COER (fan name) who come to the venue can have fun without regret.
Seonghyun: I didn't expect to have our first solo tour so soon. Since it's our stage, we'll show everything we want to do. Just play with us until you're exhausted!
Geonho: I'm happiest that we can share the stage with the COER fans. I hope everyone who comes to the concert will jump excitedly with us.
Q. meaning behind the tour title
Martin: For us, "PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN" means "living in the present." It expresses the wish that people concentrate on the stage instead of their smartphones. If you see this tour, you'll get a clear picture of the stage CORTIS wants to create going forward.
James: It's fine to record moments with photos and videos, but sometimes staring only at your smartphone screen makes you miss precious and valuable real-life experiences. If you fully immerse yourself in the concert's atmosphere, take it in with your eyes and feel it with your body, won't it become a more beautiful memory later? We'll do our best so audience members can spend an unforgettable time in their lives.
Q. what did you prepare most carefully for the Incheon concert, the first start of the tour
Martin: I think the start is important. We're preparing prioritizing a stage where we can run freely without mistakes.
James: I thought and thought about how to make the COER fans who will fill the seats go wild.
Juhun: We practiced a lot so our energy could reach the COER fans and to lift the audience atmosphere.
Seonghyun: I want to show a great performance in the best condition.
Geonho: Because it's our first tour stage, I worked hard on my stamina. I also researched a lot of ad-libs.
Q. goals for CORTIS after the second-half tour and "Lollapalooza Chicago", "Formula One (F1) Singapore Grand Prix"
Juhun: I'm grateful to stand on such large stages. My current goal is to make more "delicious music" for the next album.
Seonghyun: I think it's important to come back with better and new music. I'm curious what our next goal will be too. It seems like a homework assignment we must continue to solve.
Geonho: For now, I always want to make good music and cool stages.
