Actors Mo Geonhu and Son Sang-jun have been officially invited to an awards ceremony in Thailand, signaling the start of their full-fledged global activities.
Their agency, Ppuri Entertainment, announced that actors Mo Geonhu and Son Sang-jun have been officially invited to attend the "Thailand Y Content Awards 2025," to be held on July 23 at MCC Hall (The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi) in Bangkok, Thailand.
"Thailand Y Content Awards" is an awards ceremony organized to support the dramatic growth and global market expansion of BL·GL content industries in Thailand, and is an authoritative event that highlights and honors the outstanding content and actors who shone over the year.
The two captivated domestic and international viewers with delicate yet deep emotional performances and dazzling chemistry through the TVING drama "Half of Me." In particular, "Half of Me" ranked No. 1 on the global popularity chart on the major Chinese platform iQIYI, drawing overseas response, and its distinctive achievements were recognized, earning the series a spot on the official invitee list for this Thai awards ceremony.
This invitation was made possible at the suggestion of the Thai entertainment corporation "Thailand Society." It reconfirms the growing interest in Korean BL content and actors in the global market and is expected to serve as a meaningful bridge leading active cultural exchange between Korea and Thailand.
Ppuri Entertainment said it was very pleased that "a meaningful opportunity has been created for Mo Geonhu and Son Sang-jun to communicate directly with fans abroad as well as domestically," and added, "We will continue to expand the two actors' spectrum and areas of activity through various global activities."
