Comedian Park Seong-gwang's wife, Lee Sol, received good news from follow-up screenings.
On the 17th, Lee Sol posted on her social media, "I received good results..! There is one item requiring reexamination, but how could everything be perfect.. we'll just live on as best we can!!"
She had revealed last April that she was battling a female cancer, and she has said she completed surgery and chemotherapy and is currently continuing regular checkups and medication treatment.
She recently went for follow-up screenings, and having once described follow-up screenings as "extending life by six months," Lee Sol said, "I had blood and urine tests, a bone scan, and a chest and abdominal CT — I had long tests all day," adding, "Perhaps the belief that once treatment ends the world will instantly look beautiful and one will automatically become a positive person was an exceedingly romantic misunderstanding."
Fortunately, Lee Sol received good results from the follow-up screenings except for one item that requires reexamination. Lee Sol said, "Thank you to all the friends who empathized and cheered me on. Sending you vibes to pass."
Meanwhile, Lee Sol married Park Seong-gwang in 2020. Recently, she completely put to rest divorce rumors that suddenly arose.
