Groom's Class 2 featured for the first time a 'divorced single admission' student, Kim Sang-hyuk.
On the 17th, Channel A variety show Groom's Class 2 showed newly joined Kim Sang-hyuk gathering with Click-B members and having candid conversations.
That day, Kim Sang-hyuk appeared in the studio as a new freshman. As the first divorced single student in Groom's Class, he cautiously said, "I wanted to enroll in 'Groom's Class' and came out wondering if it would be okay for me to be on the show."
He went on to explain the reason he appeared, saying, "Usually through Groom's Class many colleagues genuinely meet good partners and I felt envious and wondered if I might also meet someone, so I cautiously (came out)."
Kim Sang-hyuk revealed a home filled with traces of his days active with Click-B. He said, "It feels like a house full of Click-B activities I did when I was young," and added, "If the things I'm hoping for go well and I move, I might set up a separate household," revealing his sincerity about marriage.
Meanwhile, Kim Sang-hyuk married Song Da-ye, a former shopping mall CEO, after two years of dating in 2019, but they divorced in 2020 after only one year and four months.
At the time, Kim Sang-hyuk's agency said, "We were unable to overcome differences in views with the spouse, and after careful consideration we proceeded with mediation procedures for divorce."
