Star chef Choi Hyun-seok's daughter-in-law Choi Yeon-su shared her feelings on celebrating her birthday for the first time since giving birth.
On the 17th, Choi Yeon-su uploaded a video to her social account with the caption "Thanks to you, a fulfilling and joyful birthday."
In the video, Choi Yeon-su said, "celebrating a baby mom's birthday," showing scenes from the birthday itself. She said, "This video is a birthday video. Strangely, this birthday didn't really feel like a birthday. I think Moreng's catching a cold also played a part," conveying the changed birthday atmosphere.
She added, "I didn't want anything, so my friends gave me diapers as birthday presents, and usually when it's my birthday I'm so excited and there are so many things I want to do, but it just didn't feel like a birthday. Is this adulthood?" she joked.
Choi Yeon-su said, "In the meantime, after having a baby I've become more sentimental, and seeing acquaintances so enthusiastically celebrate my birthday made me a little teary. I had a vague anxiety that having a baby would distance me from my friends, but thanks to them I was able to have a happy birthday without feeling depressed. I received letters from friends and became an emotional person alone at dawn," and expressed gratitude, "I'm so thankful to the friends who celebrated me, and thank you to everyone who left congratulatory comments and sent direct messages."
Meanwhile, Choi Yeon-su married Kim Tae-hyun of DickPunks, who is 12 years her senior, last September and gave birth to her first son, Seo-ho, this May.<
