Two Months' Do Dae-yoon candidly revealed his life in the United States after halting activities and his recent work as manager for Jang Beomjune.
On the 17th broadcast of KBS2's Happy Together, Two Months' Kim Ye-rim and Do Dae-yoon, reunited after 13 years, appeared and shared stories of their hiatus.
That day Do Dae-yoon said the reason he took a long break from activities was "I suffered severely from bipolar disorder and needed a long rest."
He continued, "At the time the overall pressure was too intense. It overlapped with adolescence, and symptoms arose as I kept the stress to myself," adding, "I wanted to escape reality, so I returned to the United States."
In the United States he also challenged himself with a life outside of music. Do Dae-yoon said, "I thought music might not be the only answer, so I did various part-time jobs," and added, "I worked managing a jewelry shop warehouse and doing quality inspections, and I even experienced bartending and other jobs."
But in the end he couldn't completely give up music. After returning to Korea, he revealed he recently worked as singer Jang Beomjune's manager, drawing attention. Do Dae-yoon said, "I served as Busker Busker's manager," explaining, "When requests came from broadcasters or for events, politely declining them was the main task." He added with a laugh, "Jang Beomjune wasn't the type to appear at a lot of events."
