Actress Chae Jeong-an candidly confessed about her skin condition and voiced her convictions against excessive lifting procedures.
On the afternoon of the 16th, a video titled "Shh! Is this the trend these days? Celebrity anti-aging care I learned after trying it myself" was posted on the YouTube channel Chae Jeong-an TV.
Chae Jeong-an showed frank talk about the reality of skin care changing as one ages. She began by saying, "Friends who didn't go to dermatology just take inner beauty supplements, drink a lot of water and sleep well, but once they pass their mid-40s they occasionally make dermatology appointments."
She then revealed her preferred philosophy of natural care. She said, "(For me) something that is subtly lifting and whose effects last a little longer. For example, doing it before starting a project or before going to fashion week. Then if you look a month later the lines are nicely arranged — that's the level I pursue," explaining she seeks modest, subtle refinement rather than excess.
Especially, Chae Jeong-an issued a surprising warning to those considering procedures, citing her own skin type as an example. Chae Jeong-an added, "You can really see all the veins even just by looking. I'm someone with very thin skin. People like this shouldn't have a face-lift or anything that pulls. It's dangerous. So it's important for the skin itself to look healthy."
