Singer Lee Sora recalled her past connection with broadcaster Park Kyung-rim and confessed an anecdote about driving after taking a sip of alcohol.
Lee Sora served as the special DJ on MBC Radio FM4U's Two O'Clock Date with Ahn Young-mi, which aired on the afternoon of the 16th. While Ahn Young-mi is on maternity leave after recently giving birth, Lee Sora filled in as the special DJ, and Park Kyung-rim appeared as a guest on that day's broadcast.
Lee Sora mentioned her past connection with Park Kyung-rim, saying, "Back then I was with Park Kyung-rim, and since Kyung-rim was a child at the time, there were times when I drove," and Park Kyung-rim also said, "I was a high school student. You drove me home many times because I didn't have a car."
Then Lee Sora said, "I don't know if I should talk about this. But it didn't happen that often…," and added, "What still remains in my memory is that during a company dinner or something, I don't think I was drinking then, but I must have had one drink. The two of us were driving when we were stopped at a sobriety checkpoint. I was so startled," drawing attention.
In response, Park Kyung-rim quickly smoothed things over, saying, "Unni didn't drink even one sip. Almost half a sip? She just barely touched it to her lips."
Lee Sora laughed and said, "But I was so nervous then; I should have stayed calm, Kyung-rim was beside me, and in front they said it was a sobriety checkpoint, so I wondered what to do. Since I had to blow, I exhaled. But nothing came out," she revealed about the situation at the time.
Park Kyung-rim again emphasized, "Nothing came out," and explained, "These days the machines are accurate, so if you've been drinking it shows right away. It could have been in the papers. I was there then, and Lee Sora poured water into the cup and drank that, so she truly didn't drink." Lee Sora added, "I didn't think it would become a problem; it really happened. I remember being very worried."
Then Park Kyung-rim brought up another memory with Lee Sora. Park Kyung-rim said, "I didn't know at all. Rather, the thing that stands out so much when she drove me home was that I told her I had an upcoming college entrance ceremony, and Lee Sora put something in my hand and said, 'See you later,' and ran off. She gave me money… telling me to buy what I needed in cash and congratulating me on entering college. Sora unni is that kind of person. She was truly like a hot pack to me," expressing affection.
