Actor Hwang Bo-ra said she would actively accept opinions from those around her regarding various reactions to her parenting and discipline methods.

In the video that day, Hwang Bo-ra said, "Isn't she much more of a parenting mom than me? I heard she raises two children alone. I think she will be a great help," and visited the home of actress Han Guru, who is raising twins alone, to hear parenting advice.

Hwang Bo-ra married actor and film producer Cha Hyun-woo (real name Kim Young-hoon), who is the son of actor Kim Yong-gun and the brother of Ha Jung-woo, in 2022. Later, through in vitro fertilization, she welcomed her son Woo-in in 2024 at age 40. But after recently posting parenting videos on YouTube, some negative reactions poured in. People criticized her parenting methods, saying she left Woo-in crying and shouting in crowded places for discipline, and that she indulged the child's tantrums, among other complaints. Moreover, because she shared that she is trying to become pregnant with a second child, concerns followed about the somewhat inadequate discipline of her first child.
