IVE member Gaeul spent a meaningful time with writer Lee Seul-a.
On the 15th, Gaeul's YouTube channel "Gaeul's Temperature" featured Lee Seul-a as the second book club guest, showing Gaeul talking with the writer.
Gaeul mentioned that Lee Seul-a recently wrote lyrics for songs by fellow agency juniors KiiiKiii, asked about the behind-the-scenes of the work as an icebreaker, then took time to learn about each other's book preferences.
Writer Lee Seul-a introduced today's book as the essay collection "Bed and Book," which links human life, love and loneliness to literary works, read passages aloud and freely shared her thoughts, leaving a deep impression. Gaeul also introduced Lee Seul-a's "conflicted eyes," read a favorite passage aloud, and the two had a sincere conversation about the book and spent a meaningful time together.
Writer Lee Seul-a said of Gaeul, "She picked out the parts written from the heart in the book, so I feel she is a reader with excellent discernment."
In response to Lee Seul-a's praise, Gaeul said, "I want to write my book in the distant future. I have a strong desire to do it well, and because I don't want to publish something that would embarrass me, I want to challenge it when I'm ready."
