Japan's popular rock band go!go!vanillas opened the first leg of their Asia tour with an overwhelming two-hour live show.
go!go!vanillas held the "go!go!vanillas Asia Tour 2026" Seoul concert on the 12th at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul.
Planned as the band's first Asia tour, the concert drew attention as soon as tickets went on sale amid intense interest from domestic fans, and the roughly two-hour performance unfolded amid the heat of an audience that filled the seats on the day of the concert.
The four-piece band, composed of Maki Tatsuya (vocals and guitar), Yanagisawa Shintaro (guitar), Hasegawa Keisuke (bass), and Jett Seiya (drums), filled the stage with a crossover sound that crossed genre boundaries from garage rock and hardcore to ska, punk and R&B. Beginning with the opening song "Heisei Pain (平成ペイン)," the band poured out explosive energy and, without pause, ran through signature songs such as "SHAKE" and "Dandelion (ダンデライオン)," heating up the audience from the start of the show.
When the latest song "Fallin' / Falling (폴인 / 폴링)," released in May and acclaimed by fans worldwide, was played, the audience's cheers reached a peak, and after ending the show with "SCARY MONSTER (スケアリーモンスター)," they closed the concert with a stirring encore featuring songs such as "Ohayo Culture (おはようカルチャー)."
After the concert, a special event was held for VIP attendees. The members personally handed out autographed postcards and took commemorative photos with fans, engaging closely with domestic fans even offstage.
This Seoul concert is particularly meaningful as the starting point of go!go!vanillas's eagerly launched first Asia tour. Having proven overwhelming ticket power and live ability in Seoul, attention is focused on the band's future global activities as they expand their unique musical world worldwide.
