Actor Im Hyun-sik eased many people's concerns with a noticeably healthier appearance.
On the 15th a video titled "I visited Im Hyun-sik's house!" was uploaded to the Park Won-sook channel.
In the video Park Won-sook visited Im Hyun-sik's hanok dwelling in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, where he is living a country life. Earlier last month Im Hyun-sik had visited a cafe in Namhae operated by Park Won-sook.
To this Park Won-sook asked, "Didn't anyone around Im Hyun-sik mention that someone came to Namhae to visit? Isn't there anyone who saw it?" regarding the YouTube video, and Im Hyun-sik said, "There is. At my alumni meeting they said, 'When did you go there again? Was it fun?'"
In particular Park Won-sook praised him, "No, but your face really looks good. Compared with the last time you came to Namhae, today your skin looks even more neat and well cared for," adding, "Isn't that so? The hat suits you so well. You're even more handsome from the side than from the front." Im Hyun-sik smiled proudly and made people laugh, saying, "Something's coming together."
Park Won-sook said, "Haven't we lived a long time? We have lived a long time. Up to this age," and Im Hyun-sik joked, "Well... I told those in heaven last year, 'For about five more years I'll live for myself, and I'll leave the rest to the higher-ups.' But already another year has passed."
To this Park Won-sook asked, "Why would you live however you want for five years when you should entrust everything? Can you do as you please?" and Im Hyun-sik added, "Now anything seems possible? It seems to go my way. I can speak casually to anyone," which brought more laughter.
Meanwhile Im Hyun-sik, born in 1945 and 80 years old, previously suffered from asthma and acute myocardial infarction, and in 2014 he underwent a heart stent procedure, which caused concern. In a video of his visit last month to Park Won-sook's cafe, he appeared much more gaunt and was caught up in rumors of health problems. At the time he confessed, "I lost as much as 6kg because I couldn't digest," adding, "I had tests at the hospital for about three months and was prescribed medication, which I have been taking for about five to six months now."
However, a video posted a month later showed his complexion much improved, and netizens have left comments such as "It's good to see him healthy" and "Be healthy and happy."
