Singer Lee Su-yeon is looking for the next prodigy who will lead K-trot.
Lee Su-yeon appeared on the "Challenge: Stage of Dreams" segment of KBS1's Morning Yard, which aired on the 15th.
That episode was arranged as a "fan club song contest" with her fans, and Lee Su-yeon sat in the cheering section holding a placard she had prepared herself to support third-grader Kwon Ye-seo.
Lee Su-yeon chose Kim Yong-im's "Cheonnyeonhak" for Kwon Ye-seo, who said she had overcome her introverted personality after watching her own performances, and performed the song on stage. Despite the high difficulty of the song, they showcased perfect harmony with a clear tone and solid vocal technique. In particular, Lee Su-yeon showed her qualities as a reliable senior and mentor without reserve, easing Kwon Ye-seo's tension throughout the stage with warm eyes and smiles.
Kwon Ye-seo said, "Su-yeon unni is a wonderful singer who gives people happiness and courage with her warm smiling eyes, smile and great songs. I will also work hard to become a great singer. I want to sing on the soon-to-start 'Find the prodigy of Ha Chun-hwa & Lee Su-yeon!' but my skills are still lacking, so I want to practice more and win the grand prize next time."
Lee Su-yeon added, "I am moved and grateful that I even have young fans. 'Find the prodigy of Ha Chun-hwa & Lee Su-yeon!', which will search for the prodigy to lead the globalization of K-trot, starts on Aug. 5, so I ask for a lot of support."
Meanwhile, Lee Su-yeon is currently participating in the nationwide tour concert of King of Singers 3.
