Actor Lee Si-young is preparing to spend a month in Canada with her eldest son.
Recently, a video titled "Canada one-month living chat time" was uploaded to the channel 'Boosiyoung'.
Appearing at home with a sheet mask on, Lee Si-young said embarrassedly, "Is it okay to appear like this?"
She continued, "I thought it would be good to turn on the camera to talk about recent news while putting the kids to sleep and doing a face mask," and "Right now I am preparing to spend a month in Canada with my son Iaan. One month is a long time, not very short. So I thought it would be nice to talk about various preparations, so I turned on the camera," she said, engaging with viewers.
Previously, Lee Si-young's son was reported to be attending Chadwick International School in Songdo, Incheon. Known as an elite school because many celebrities' and public figures' children attend and because of its high tuition, if a student completes the curriculum from kindergarten through high school, tuition alone reportedly reaches about 600 million won.
Lee Si-young's son has already experienced living abroad, having stayed in the United States with his maternal uncle in addition to attending an international school, and he is scheduled to experience living in Canada for a month soon.
Meanwhile, Lee Si-young married a person working in the foodservice industry in 2017 and gave birth to a son the following year, but divorced in 2025 after eight years of marriage. She later had a frozen embryo implanted and welcomed her second daughter in November last year. She is raising two children as a single mother.
In the past, she drew attention by selling her building in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, for about 4.3 billion won, earning a profit of more than 2 billion won. She bought it for about 2.3 billion won in 2016 and sold it four years later, making a substantial revenue.
