K-pop 4세대를 대표하는 톱 클래스 그룹 Stray Kids가 자신들만의 확고한 성공 공식을 바탕으로 흔들림 없는 글로벌 성장 모멘텀을 이어간다.
Stray Kids will make a comeback by releasing their new mini album THIS & THAT (This & That) and a title track of the same name at 1 p.m. on Aug. 7. In the teaser images released sequentially since the 11th, they uniquely explored the everyday theme of "coffee" and, with fresh perspectives and member placements that twisted standardized compositions, they fully demonstrated their distinctive expressiveness, vertically raising anticipation for the new release.
Bold attempts and challenges that place no limits on each album have been the core driving force that propelled Stray Kids to the top of the global music market. From costumes that reinterpret traditional attire to long hair, daring makeup and tooth gems that catch the eye, as well as striking sounds and lyrics that stick in the mind, they have firmly established the genre called Stray Kids. Especially, true to the group's name meaning to pioneer their own path, they actively participate in song production centered on the group's producing team 3RACHA, completing the irreplaceable "SKZ core."
Their intense sweat directly led to unprecedented global records. Beginning with the 2022 mini album ODDINARY (Oddinary) and up through the SKZ IT TAPE DO IT (Do It) released last November, they placed eight albums bearing the members' names consecutively at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard main chart the Billboard 200, earning the title of "first artist in the world." In addition, their world tour dominATE (dominATE), which spanned 56 shows across 35 regions in major stadiums worldwide, and headlining major overseas festivals such as Lollapalooza and British Summer Time Hyde Park further demonstrated their explosive stage dominance.
With a unique concept, in-house producing capabilities and overwhelming performance forming a perfect trifecta, Stray Kids are expected to achieve both quantitative and qualitative results once again with the new song This & That. Ahead of the full-scale comeback, they warmed up by selling out all five performances at Seoul KSPO DOME beginning on July 28. Then in September, they will appear as a global headliner at STRAYCITY, a new festival touring three regions in Latin America including the large Brazilian music festival Rock in Rio, showcasing strong activities as a global headliner. Even in their eighth year since debut, Stray Kids continue to move forward without stopping, writing a new chapter in K-pop, drawing worldwide attention to their unstoppable progress.
