From BTS choreographers to Blackpink choreographers, top dancers from around the world will gather in Seoul.
On the 15th, the International Dance League (International Dance League, hereafter IDL) said "it has confirmed the holding of the 'Seoul series' on Aug. 1 at Kyung Hee University Peace Hall in Seoul and has begun ticket sales."
"Seoul series" is the fourth competition of the 2026 debut season and is drawing expectations from domestic and international dance fans. Representing six countries in total are professional teams including Korea's "1MILLION", Canada's "Brotherhood", Southeast Asia's "Jam Republic", Norway's "Quick Style", New Zealand's "Royal Family" and the United States' "GRV".
World-renowned K-pop choreographers are lined up among the participating teams. Ria Kim, co-founder of 1MILLION, choreographed for Blackpink and TWICE, and Scott Forsyth of Brotherhood participated in choreography production for many K-pop artists including BTS and Stray Kids. Julian De Guzman of Jam Republic choreographed NCT 127's "Hero (英雄; Kick It)", and Nassir Sirikhan of Quick Style choreographed BTS's "Blood Sweat & Tears" and "Boy With Luv", building global renown.
Kore Rim, IDL co-founder and CEO, said, "Korea is one of the countries that has produced the most influential choreographers in the world," and added, "Every team has a chance to win, and that fierce battle will fully unfold in Seoul."
