Actress Chae Rim settled in Jeju after two divorces and is continuing her daily life with her son.
Chae Rim recently shared an update by posting a video taken with her mother and son on her Chinese social account.
The released video shows Chae Rim asking her son, "Are you happy living in Jeju?" and the son replying, "99 out of 100," expressing satisfaction. She said the reason he did not give 100 points was because he remembered times he got scolded, which brought a smile.
Sharing her happy daily life with her son, Chae Rim criticized intrusive comments from others, saying, "Why do you keep telling me to find happiness from a man?," "I'm standing on my own two feet, so why do you keep telling me to rely on a man?," and "I found this out using my energy, time and tears."
Chae Rim married singer Lee Seung-hwan in 2003 and divorced in 2006. She later remarried Chinese actor Gao Ziqi in 2014 and had a son, but they divorced in 2020. Recently she appeared on SBS Plus's "Because I'm single."
