Group TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun topped the charts in Japan after his solo comeback.
BigHit Music said on the 15th that Yeonjun's mini album 2, 'NO LABELS: PART 02', debuted at No. 1 on the Oricon latest chart (July 13) 'daily album ranking' upon its local release.
With this, Yeonjun proved his mettle by reaching the top of the Oricon chart as a solo artist. Following the mini 1 he released last year, he has continued to receive a strong response by taking No. 1 for two consecutive works, making this an even more noteworthy achievement.
Yeonjun recorded first-day sales of 661,924 copies (Hanteo Chart tally) for his mini album 2, 'NO LABELS: PART 02', released on the 10th, setting a record. This is the highest first-day sales among Korean solo artist albums released this year.
He is drawing attention as he has also proven his competitiveness as a solo artist by reaching No. 1 on the Oricon chart in Japan.
With his solo comeback, Yeonjun plans to continue his global activities starting next month with the 'Summer Concert Series' hosted by U.S. network ABC's flagship morning show Good Morning America.
